CHOW Meeting Information
Christian Home Educators of Woodbury Area (CHOW) meets from August through April. There is no
meeting in December.
Meetings are held at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road, across Valley Creek Road from Target.
The meetings will be in the Paul Room, located on the west end of the building, in the basement below the sanctuary.
CHOW 2008-2009 Meeting Dates
- Monday, August 25 (7:00-9:00p.m.)
- Tuesday, September 30 (3:30-5:30p.m.)
John Tuma will lead a question and answer discussion regarding legal issues related to homeschooling. Mr. Tuma is on the MACHE Board; he is an attorney and former MN State Representative. (from 4:00-5:00) - Monday, October 27 (7:00-9:00p.m.)
Darcy Schatz will make a presentation to help us organize our homes and our schools. Darcy is a homeschooling mother, too, so she'll have some great ideas for us. If you have any questions for Darcy, please let Sheryl Arend know topass them along to Darcy prior to the meeting.
